Yoga, Fire Ceremony, Sunset Boat Trip and Optional Sea Dip
Date: June 21st | Time: 6.30pm to approximately 10pm
Ilfracombe Habour to Broadsands
On June 21st, join Lundy Diving and Lorna May Loves for a truly special Summer Solstice celebration: an evening of sea, ceremony, yoga, fire and sunset in one of North Devon’s most beautiful hidden places.
This is not your usual yoga event.

Summer Solstice
The Summer Solstice is the longest day of the year, when the sun reaches its highest point and the natural world is alive with warmth, light and abundance. It is a magical threshold in the Wheel of the Year, a time to pause, celebrate, give thanks for what has grown, and honour the fullness of life before the slow return towards the darker half of the year.
What to Expect
Date: June 21st | Time: 6.30pm to approximately 10pm
Ilfracombe Habour to Broadsands

The Boat Trip
We will meet at Ilfracombe Harbour before boarding with Lundy Diving and setting off by boat. The journey itself is part of the magic: sea air, open water, cliffs, light, and the feeling of leaving everyday life behind for a few hours.
The Beach
Arriving at Broadsands by boat makes the evening feel even more special. This beautiful secluded beach, often called Little Thailand, is cut off from usual access and now only reachable safely from the sea. It is the perfect place to gather for a midsummer ceremony, held by the elements.

The Yoga
On the beach, Lorna will guide you through a solstice yoga practice. Expect mindful movement, breath, stillness and intention. The practice will be suitable for all levels and will focus on connecting to the light of the season, the warmth of the heart, and the fire of life within.
The Fire
We will then gather around the fire for a simple but powerful ceremony. The Summer Solstice is a time to celebrate what has grown, honour what has come into fullness, and pause before the wheel begins its slow turn towards the darker half of the year. Around the fire, we will give thanks for the light, reflect on what we are ready to release, and call in what we wish to carry forward.

The Sunset
After our time on the beach, we will return to the boat for sunset. There will be the option to jump into the sea if conditions allow, or simply sit back, watch the sun sink towards the horizon, and take in the beauty of the longest day.
Expect an evening that feels wild,
beautiful, intimate and unforgettable.
